Hey everyone. My name's Sora, for those of you I haven't talked to yet. Yes, I look an awful lot like Vanitas but why that is is a complicated story. From what I've seen all of you have been given Keyblades and I'd like to offer my services and knowledge on them. Feel free to ask me anytime about them or to teach you how to use them. I can also show you how to wield them.

Anyways, I figured this would be a good way for us to gather whatever information we've found out about this place. Sharing information is vital - it could be our way of figuring out what's really going on around here and could possibly save all of our lives. I've been through something similar to this and we managed to save nearly everyone except one of the people responsible and I'd really like for everyone here to leave this world alive.

[ Sora sighs, looks to the side and licks his lips. ]

I'm going to keep track of everything here on the 'berries [ Don't ask, it's his word for the gummi phones. ] that we discover so that it can be easy to dig through. Talk to each other, share information, try not to go out too far alone because we don't exactly know what's out there.

My name's Goro Akechi, for those who haven't met me yet. I'm 18 years old and was attending Shujin Academy - I'm from Tokyo, Japan... on planet Earth.

I come from the same... [ . . . ] ... timeline as Akira Kurusu, but we were pulled from different points. And, in spite of being from the same world as Yusuke Kitagawa, we have different memories... and weren't even pulled from the same, general events.

Sorry if that's confusing for anyone. It's a strange situation all around, for the three of us, and I'm not sure how else to explain - not without sitting and drawing a diagram of some sort, maybe.

I haven't experienced any altered memories this time around but I forgot four years of my life the last time. And I've met so many alternate versions of friends that I've lost count of how many exactly. Plus plenty of timeline shenanigans.

Unless you have someone around who knew you pretty well before all this started, you may not be able to tell if your memories are altered. Goro has two people here from his world and not all of their stories match up so that's how he knows.

So it's like restoring from a backup, but there aren't backups for everyone-lun.

[ Don't worry, he's picked up on the fact that she said she's recently been living in Japan. Also keeping in mind that Iori described her as "I think she's an alien". ]

Exactly. [ Sora actually... understood that. ] We may not know we had our memories altered until much later on. Last time, it took me six weeks to get my missing memories back.

I'd better not have had any memories changed, then-lun. Taking six weeks to find out sounds terrible-lun.

Yeah, it's not pleasant having all of those memories come rushing back at the worst time ever. Especially after going all that time without them.

[ Siiiiiiigh. ]

Gravity is weird here-lun. When I tried climbing on the giant mushrooms, the gravity decreased as I got higher-lun.

[It's not an unfamiliar feeling for her!]

It's normal for gravity to get weaker with altitude, but not so quickly-lun. Over a short distance like that it shouldn't even be noticeable-lun.

Huh, that's interesting. It was like that on the ship too. I climbed up to the top of the masts and would have floated away if I wasn't holding on.

[ He taps his chin thoughtfully. Sora is not an expert at how gravity works but... ]

Maybe the gravity here has something to do with the nature of the world. It does make me wonder if there's an actual world below this floating island or if perhaps the same magic that was used to protect the ship from space is protecting this island.

It definitely seems like artificial gravity-lun. Maybe this whole island is actually another ship-lun.

We should try to throw something over the side of the island and see what happens.
