Oh, this is good work, some of this coding is downright beautiful. Nice protections, too, I actually had to work at this.
Bonjour, Miami~ Nice to meet you, I'm Elijah. You can call me Eli if you want.
You've been having a really interesting year.

[ no greeting or anything, wow, someone is unhappy ]

I don't know any more about what happened to Tiernan than you all do. Lucina disappeared from containment in a similar time frame to his disappearance, so I assume she took him. Again.
I would like to try and help, though. I actually owe him, though I'm not sure whether what I owe him is a favor or a punch in the nose.
before poor Mira technically responds
>Elijah has been removed.

shit. ]
I'm... sorry for my hostility. After everything that's happened, I'm a little on edge...
[ which she sends before--
well. okay. ]
.... oh, nevermind.
About six minutes later
Rude, I just wanted to talk.

I'm impressed~
[ After a pause. . . ]
Nice picture... and rank. Guess this makes you my senior.
>Elijah has been removed.
Reason: Make it back in under five minutes and we can talk, handsome.

[ ....... and Nick will feel some very gentle indignation toward him!! She's not actually mad, she's just trying to calm her heckin' heart. ]

My treat.
Maybe we can bring our new friend along, if he manages to make it through the next walls.
[ He's giving her a tiny apologetic smile from his computer, and it definitely matches the emotions. ]

Why are you hacking our system?
[ He's a little wary knowing what the Foundation is like as a whole. ]
no subject
Do you think he'll manage it?
no subject
I don't mind swinging by to say hello, regardless.
Four minutes and 22 seconds...
And yes, so this would probably technically be insubordination if I hadn't put in for leave before prying into your source code.

Does blatantly kidnapping a superior for food count as insubordination, too, as long as it's to somewhere nice? Or does that 'blatantly kidnapping' part hold the most weight, regardless?
no subject
It's alright.

... All the same, I really am sorry. But, aside from that... I'm Mira. Mira Delacroix. You're French too, aren't you?
no subject
Well, a few reasons. One, I owe your missing troublemaker so I want to see if I can do anything. Two, security like this is a 'Keep Out' sign a mile high and two miles wide so naturally I had to know what was inside. Three, there is no three, actually, so I guess only a couple of reasons.

You owe Tiernan? For what exactly? So basically you got super nosy and decided to come check out what must be so interesting behind the sign. Not sure I'm comfortable with that but I've learned that nothing about my life is private anyway so.
Welcome, I guess. I'm Sora. The clone, not the original. How much have you poked around in our files? And what are you going to do with that information?
no subject
Given what we are and/or what we do.
Anyway, if my two friends are okay with it, that settles it! And we'll be there as soon as we're all ready.

Do you usually invite people who hack you out to a meal?

I can't prove anything but I'm fairly sure he got me promoted. ...don't ask what happened to the person I took over from. And I don't blame you for being uncomfortable. It's probably better me than someone who might actually report you, though?
It's nice to meet you, Sora. And not much yet, playing tag with Nick has been keeping me a little busy. What I do will depend on how things go and what I see, but at the moment my intention is to help.
no subject
Oh well that's not surprising. Tiernan works in mysterious ways and if he picked you for the job then you can't be too bad. Though I'm curious about when he did this since he's been missing a few days.
Nice to meet you too, Eli. Yeah Nick is kind of protective of us after all we've been through together. Help with finding Tiernan? Because I'm pretty sure he's wherever Lucina is right now.
no subject
That sounds awful.
This was a few months ago. I had my hands full just getting my site back together at first. Mon dieu, the place was in shambles, you wouldn't believe- Well. Maybe you would.
I don't blame him. I don't think I'd be much different if I'd been dragged through hell with a group of people. That's my working theory, too, but I refuse to believe it means they're unfindable.
no subject
Yeah there are some pretty bad realities out there.
Figures. He didn't really have much time for other things this time around though if Tiernan had managed it in the couple of weeks before he disappeared I wouldn't be surprised. And trust me, I'd believe it. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen mass chaos in a usually structured group.
Facing down hell together just makes our bonds stronger. That's what I've learned over the last four or five years. We're not giving up on searching for him yet. I'm still world-hopping to see if maybe they're somewhere I know of.
no subject
[ . . . ]
Only the really cute ones.
[ But not even three seconds later-- ]
In all honesty, this is the first time anyone has managed.
no subject
[The three seconds later message has plenty of time since there is a pause here possibly caused by Eli choking.]
W-wha..?!
[Voice to text, why have you betrayed him?]
Uh, that's good, then. I can probably help you make sure nobody else does.
no subject
The first week or two was...bad. But things are under control now and I'd like to think better under me than the old site director.
That's the way it should be, isn't it? Not giving up on your friends. ๐

Tiernan wouldn't have placed you in charge if he thought you'd make things worse or keep on as they were. If you ever need help, I can offer my services. Though I'm kind of busy at the moment.
Yeah, it is. That's the one thing that's always kept me going during the hardest times. :)

yeah nick is a tech wizard for sure
guy made an entire chat application in two days too
no exaggeration
and interesting is sure a word for it

It's impressive either way but one is healthy and the other not so much.
A tame word but also less evocative than more accurate ones.

It seems like you have a lot of faith in him. I definitely wouldn't try to pull you away from the search but I'll keep you in mind for later.
It's admirable. Friends are important...
no subject
Of course, he's my friend and we probably wouldn't have survived the first two games as well as we did without him. Well I was already out searching for something else and then Tiernan went and got kidnapped so I didn't really have to stop my other thing.
They're one of the most important in my opinion.

yuuuuuuuuuup
man everyone already asked the good questions
hmmm
got any nifty powers?
no subject
๐ Maaaaaybe. That depends on what counts as 'nifty'.

I have so much catching up to do if I want to be useful at all. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Yeah. I think that, too.
no subject
It'll be an interesting read, I think. Plus whatever you learn from Nick himself.
Glad to hear that. [ Makes it easier to trust Eli even if people can lie - especially over text. But if Nick decides to trust the guy, then Sora will too. ]
